Tennessee head football coach Jeremy Pruitt was celebrating his team and its new recruiting class on Thursday, but he still broke some not-so-good news, nonetheless.

During a recruiting celebration in Nashville, Pruitt indicated that offensive lineman Drew Richmond, linebacker Austin Smith, and wide receiver Latrell Williams will all likely transfer and no longer be a part of the Vols’ team when spring football begins next month.

And all of this news adds on to the transfer of tight end Eli Wolf to Georgia, which was announced earlier this week.

Additionally, Pruitt gave the unfortunate news that offensive lineman Chance Hall will be ending his football career altogether due to an ongoing battle with injuries and that he will go on a medical exemption scholarship.

Hall, a rising fifth-year senior, can now be added to a list of UT o-linemen who have left football and gone on a medical scholarship within the last year. Freshman Tanner Antonutti and redshirt sophomore Devante Brooks both stepped away from football due to injury during the current offseason.
